According to an exclusive report by Ilgan Sports, BIGBANG might be coming back soon! Be still, fans' hearts.

YG Entertainment's Yang Hyun Suk disclosed to the media outlet on February 12, "YG's first batter of 2015 will be BIGBANG.  They plan to release a new album in April."

This will make their first album in three years since 'Still Alive' was dropped in June, 2012! 

Chief Yang said, "iKON and WINNER are working on things, as well, but our first batter this year is BIGBANG.  It's burdensome to say so, but I listened to BIGBANG's new song, which the members worked on yesterday.  I liked it more than any other BIGBANG song up to this point.

My heart was fluttering when I listened to their new song.  I was in such a good mood listening to BIGBANG music for the first time in a long time."

He sure knows how to get anticipation rising!  "BIGBANG's endurance and music-related ideas from ten years [of their career] have now ripened to their best state to become an album that emits light," he continued.  "I thought with certainty, 'This is why they're BIGBANG; this is why they're YG's eldest.'  Not only is their title good but also all the other songs."

Yang Hyun Suk said, "It's a product that fans really looked forward to and awaited.  Of course, I likewise had big expectations.  I'm satisfied because the results are good.  I even want to compliment and respect BIGBANG as artists. 

Their younger brothers, WINNER and iKON, are, as expected, working diligently right now.  BIGBANG's new album is really good, so they're probably going to cut off the start to a huge success in a good mood.  There are high expectations."

Recently, BIGBANG members dropped hints that 2015 is set to be a big year for the idol boy group because a comeback is in the pipeline! When G-Dragon insinuated that they were currently working on their album as well as planning a world tour and when Taeyang said that the comeback would happen when everyone least expected it, media outlets began speculating that the group would come out sometime during the summer.

Well, that was until YG Entertainment announced that BIGBANG’s comeback may actually be sooner than expected!



On 10th Feb, a YG Entertainment rep disclosed to Star News:

The BIGBANG members have already held onto the strings and strands of the new album and as of the beginning of February, every single member has been coming out to the studios almost every day to work on the production of the songs.

Although the members have been busy with their own overseas schedules, they have all been very focused on working together for the album. Since there are some tracks that have already been finished in the past, the status of this new album has been nearing completion at very rapid pace. The possibility of making a comeback sooner than expected has been growing.

It was also revealed that BIGBANG’s comeback was most likely to be released sometime during the summer of 2015.

However, YG Entertainment’s representative explained that due to smooth preparations and productions, the songs are resulting in very high quality tracks and the album will most likely be released before the summer even hits.



“Even at YG Entertainment, we are currently taking BIGBANG’s comeback as the number one priority. We think this way because we know how long their fans have been waiting for them to come out,” the representative stated, emphasising that this will be the group’s first comeback as a whole in years.
